Breaches of Health Care Confidentiality Checklist Mobile App

Patient confidentiality, privacy laws and HIPAA are to be complied with at all times in the Health Care Industry. Failure to comply (also known as ""breach of health care confidentiality"") is a serious HIPAA violation and can result in termination for employees.

The Breaches of Health Care Confidentiality Checklist app was designed to guide and assist staff to prevent procedures that breach confidentiality. It covers the right way to practice patient confidentiality and how to have a physician-patient relationship that centers on privacy. This may involve informed consent for disclosure of records from the patients' past health care practitioners.

This app is useful for health care practitioners and other professionals, such as administrative and records staff, working at medical offices.
