New Jersey Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program Mobile App
New Jersey Vaccines for Children (VFC) Program Agreement app is a new provider agreement for adult sites operating an immunization program administering publicly funded recommended vaccines.
How does it work?
In order for a health care provider to be a part of the publicly funded immunization program, they must agree to certain protocol and immunization practices. The provider will agree to screen patients and document eligibility, provide free vaccines to all applicable patients, particularly in cases where the patient has no health insurance or there is an infectious disease outbreak. As part of the immunization program, the health care provider will maintain immunization records, register and report vaccines administered, when applicable, and participate in compliance visits. The health care physician agrees to follow immunization practices that protect the health and safety of those being vaccinated and to properly store and maintain inventories of vaccines. The physician agrees to replace free vaccines in comparable doses if they are deemed non-viable due to provider negligence.
