How does it work?
The app covers items such as appropriate and safe equipment and facility layout, equipment selected and installation, client health risk appraisal (HRA), post emergency procedures with emergency contact numbers in the fitness facility, post warning signs that identify dangerous physical symptoms to watch for during exercise (nausea, dizziness, and pain in chest, for example) and for relevant risks associated with use of specific fitness equipment and informed consent statements to advise gym participants. The Fitness Center Environment of Care Checklist mobile app allows you to replace your paper checklist with a smartphone, tablet or computer. The mobile form includes fields to document items such as date completed, gym or fitness center, location, the person completing and captures a signature. Once the mobile app is filled out a secure PDF is generated. The PDF is easy to share, and a copy is stored in your account for your professional biohazard cleanup records.
