Children's Vision Test Mobile App
This Children's Vision Test app serves as a helpful tool for those who want to record screening results so that the vision screener can compare the results from one time to the next and advise on when the next eye exam should be scheduled.
How does it work?
Children's vision may change gradually. Regular vision tests can help detect eye and vision problems early on. In a test session at home or in the office, the host provider may use a Snellen eye chart to measure near and distance vision. In most eye exams, the eye doctor also screens for eye diseases, vision problems and measures visual acuity. More serious eye problems will need a professional's attention and may include color blindness, glaucoma (intraocular pressure), loss of peripheral vision, refractive error, etc.
Need an order form? Check out our eye examination and eye glass order form here.
This form has a single screen to capture the child' basic health information and the vision test results. It can be customized to fit your needs. Easily accessible records are saved to the Cloud and also in PDF format. While children don't have to fear a driver license test failure or other practical life applications, catching eye problems early is key. Therapy and correction with glasses or contacts is readily available, and using this app to record periodic vision testing is a must!
