The property requires special inspections from the local housing authority including looking at the exterior of the building, the plumbing and heating systems, water heater, the exits and hallways, and each room to make sure the housing unit is safe, clean and in good condition.

The unit must be vacant at the time of the first inspection, and all utilities must be turned on. The inspector must have access to the unit itself, the basement, and all common areas of the property.

This checklist provided by HUD, the federal agency in charge of the housing quality standards for the Section 8 program, is accessible from your Smartphone to complete the inspection. The easy process will help get the affordable housing available quickly to low-income families.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
