Student teachers, or teacher candidates, must track hours of field work in the classroom as part of their teacher education. The Record of Field Experiences app is perfect for recording student teaching hours. The app logs the teacher candidate name, date, placement site, grade level of students, level/subject, hours spent in the classroom, activities completed, and mentor teacher. The student teacher must complete activities such as: observations in schools and related agencies (i.e., Family Resource Center or Youth Services Center), student tutoring, interacting with families of students, attending a school board and school-based council meeting, participating in a professional learning community (PLC), and assisting teachers or other school professionals.
