Routine replenishment of equipment for the emergency trolley should be completed by ward and department staff.
How does it work?
The Hospital Clinical Coordinators can be contacted during out of hours and weekends to replenish equipment following an emergency- they should not be contacted for routine replacements. Replacement equipment must be collected by ward/department staff. The Adult Emergency Equipment Trolley mobile app checks adult emergency trolley for complete supplies and includes specific checklists for external to trolley, top of trolley, first drawer, second drawer, third drawer and bottom of trolley.
