Emergency Response and Biohazard Exposure Control Plan Mobile App
This Emergency Response and Biohazard Exposure Control Plan App assists with establishing emergency response and cleanup procedures for laboratory spills involving biohazards in Biosafety Level 1 and Biosafety Level 2 (BSL1, BSL2) laboratories.
How does it work?
Such laboratories include Dartmouth College and Geisel School of Medicine.
This emergency action plan includes emergency personnel instructions for reporting procedures regarding spills of hazardous materials and other hazardous substances, incidents, and releases, as well as hazard control and exposure control measures for working at BSL2. Enhanced BSL2 laboratories should refer to their laboratory specific Enhanced BSL2 Manual for response and cleanup procedures. Use this app to assure effective, quality emergency preparedness as a form of occupational safety management for employees that work regularly with toxic substances and chemicals. Use this app to ensure a customized emergency management plan for both emergency response and recovery through effective hazard communication.
