Prominent Wireless Leader Mark Angelino Joins GoCanvas Board

Mark Angelino, Former President of Sprint Business, to join the GoCanvas Board advising on go-to-market and product strategy.

Herndon, VA – May 13, 2009 – The GoCanvas management team announced today the addition of Mark Angelino, former President of Sprint Business, to the GoCanvas Board of Directors. “Mark brings his distinguished background and leadership to the GoCanvas board providing us with his unique perspective and guidance on executing our go-to-market strategy and we are proud to have him as part of our team,” said James Quigley, CEO and Co-Founder of GoCanvas. “Mark was at the forefront of providing wireless business solutions to clients throughout Sprint and Nextel. His entrepreneurial spirit and leadership accounted for the development and expansion of Sprint/Nextel’s own growth in the solution space and we look forward to working closely with him as we launch Canvas” added Marc Austin, COO and Co-Founder of GoCanvas.

Mr. Angelino is currently Founder and President of Smart Seraph Consulting, a business centered on research in the telecommunications industry. Smart Seraph focuses on projects that range from wireless investment research and analysis to sales channel and distribution consulting as well as M&A activity on major US buyouts. Prior to founding this business, Mr. Angelino was the President of Sales & Distribution for Sprint Nextel Corporation. While in this position he managed the company’s varied distribution channels including direct sales, over 1400 retail and national retail locations and stores, indirect dealers, telesales and web sales in all managing over 20,000 points of distribution. Prior to that assignment, Mr. Angelino was President of Sprint Business, a $16 billion wireless and wireline international carrier. While in this position, Mr. Angelino also directed several other of Sprint Nextel’s business units including alliances, prepaid Boost Mobile, the international wireline activities and their wholesale businesses. Prior to participating in the merger between Sprint and Nextel, Mr. Angelino held several key positions at Nextel including directing all of Nextel’s Enterprise sales activities and Nextel’s Distribution channels. While in this position, Mr. Angelino won the coveted American Business Award for Top Sales Executive. Prior to Sprint/Nextel, Mr. Angelino spent 22 years at IBM holding leadership positions in finance, marketing and sales management.

Mark holds a BA in Liberal Arts from Colgate University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
