ADA: Site Requirements Mobile App
The ADA Site Requirements mobile app covers accessibility matters which may be appropriate to construction projects normally presented to Division of the State Architect.
How does it work?
Relevant violations of the Americans with Disabilities Act have been included. It can be downloaded to an iPhone, iPad, or Android device.
The app is intended for use by DSA staff and as ADA accessibility guidelines for design professionals to promote uniform statewide criteria for plan review and construction inspection of projects within the jurisdiction of Division of the State Architect. Some of the ADA Standards covered include: construction of curb ramps, automatic doors, guide rails and grab bars, and construction requirements to comply with building codes. Reasonable accommodations should always be made for ADA compliance.
The information you provide is securely stored on the GoCanvas Cloud. You can also print or email the accessibility standards as a PDF for your records.
