How does it work?
The family readiness inspection checklist for military personnel covers the functional area of the family care plan for active duty soldiers, and is used to ensure that family members have approved long-term care and family plans on file as required by unit commanders and other military personnel.
Instead of using paper forms when conducting military service family care plan inspections, the app is easily accessible using a smartphone or tablet. Simply open the US Army Staff Family Care Plan Inspection app to generate a blank service member family care plan form, and you'll be prompted to enter details about the unit you are inspecting. Once all service member family units have been inspected, the unit commander or civilian employee can sign off on the results using electronic signature capture.
