USDA: Animal Care Inspection-Pet Store Inspection Mobile App

The USDA: Animal Care Inspection-Pet Store Inspection mobile app was designed to help pet store owners ensure compliance with USDA animal welfare requirements. Instead of performing retail USDA pet store inspections using paper forms, pet shop owners, USDA inspection service officers and others can access the electronic inspection report checklist using any smartphone or tablet.

A pet shop that is licensed as a dealer or exhibitor must meet all applicable regulations and standards set forth by the US Department of Agriculture. The USDA inspector app tracks a variety of details regarding the health and well-being of the animals, including store cleanliness, staff training, animal health inspection and other items related to retail pet sales.
