Department of Environmental Health. This app can be used to inform the Epidemiology Specialist of any foodborne illness complaints that are reported to a restaurant operator. When the report is taken, the Epidemiology Liaison will determine if a site visit is necessary. Information received from a food facility regarding a foodborne illness is kept confidential.
