Measles Immunity Report Form Mobile App

The rubella virus causing the measles infection can spread rapidly across school campuses.
How does it work?
Individuals with weakened immune systems or who have not received the MMR shot are at high risk of contracting the infection or experiencing complications from the illness. Before entering a college campus, students may be required to show proof of rubella and measles immunity as an effort to prevent measles cases and maintain the health and safety of all members of the school community. With the Measles Immunity Report Form app, incoming college students will provide immunization records for measles administered through the MMR vaccine or proof of immunity from the disease. With the app, the student can elect to show proof by means of vaccination records of MMR vaccine, proof of immunity, positive results from an antibody test for rubella, or a past confirmed case of measles from official lab test for measles. This app will allow the university health center to take preemptive steps in the prevention of infectious diseases on campus.
