Horizontal lifelines are synthetic or wire rope that are suspended or rigged between two anchor points. These systems allow workers wearing full-body harnesses, or other harness devices, to use fall arrest systems such as a self-retracting lanyard, self-retracting lifeline, shock-absorbing lanyard, or other fall-arrest system to allow for working on a vertical plane moving across a work surface easily, and without needing to regularly adjust or move a ladder. Permanently installed systems are designed to withstand large external forces and should be installed by a professional engineer, while temporary systems are designed for shorter term use, and should be installed by a competent person, and should be a pre-manufactured system for commercial distribution. This app facilitates a discussion on the use of these systems.

Don't take our word for it...
“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
