The Disposition for Junk and Salvage Vehicles app will provide records of destruction of junk or salvage vehicles by a registered auto salvage yard.

Previous owners will transfer ownership of the junk or scrap car to the registered vehicle dismantler or scrap processor. Each vehicle being dismantled for scrap metal or disposal must be recorded by vehicle identification number.
The registered auto recycler or scrap processor will provide all records of the purchase of the junk car including title and lien release. If any major component of the car was removed before purchase, such as engine, transmission, frame, or air bag, they will be listed next to the corresponding vehicle.
