While construction of a new vessel is proceeding, inspectors will make periodic and unscheduled reports on the processes, activities, and other associated procedures. The patrol report will be used as a way to provide consistent surveys, inspections, and other scopes and findings of the construction and shipyard.
The inspector will provide surveys and inspections of the welding equipment, welding consumables, steelwork process, alignment, and corrosion protection. The results of the inspection on the welding equipment, process, forging and castings, and other steelwork process and any remarks on the survey should be provided.
