Full details of the shipyard, welding workshop, all subcontractors, and other workshop facilities should be provided for the meeting. All quality control systems documentation will be provided including approval, certification, and scope of system.
Documentation provided to the surveyors for shipbuilding functions during construction should be included in the meeting. Welding procedures, welding consumables, steel preparation and fit, deviations, and corrosion protections documents and approved plans will be provided. The installation and testing of hatches, rudders, castings, and other equipment will also be provided. All safety construction certification should also be attached to the report for the kickoff meeting.
