Detention, Seizure & Voluntary Surrender of Food Food Law Enforcement Checklist (Scotland) Mobile App
The Detention, Seizure & Voluntary Surrender of Food Food Law Enforcement Checklist (Scotland) is an app that accompanies an on-site visit of a company during the audit and inspection of local authorities in Scotland for compliance to food safety standards.
How does it work?
It is designed to make the audit process clear and straightforward for both the local authority and the auditors. The compliance audit documents specific areas and procedures of the Feed and Food Law Enforcement Standard and regulations for food safety and performance audit protocols and checklists explain the purpose, parameters and process of the audit. The checklist is broken down into sections including Voluntary Surrender, Food Safety Act Detention, Regulation 27 Certification, and Seizure, covering such checklist items as whether the receipt records time place and method of food destruction, records of destruction, food detention notices, if the withdrawal notice was served, and whether the food was brought before a magistrate within two days, among many other items. There are also sections to document comments and uploading files or photographs.
