Safe Patient Handling Employee Survey (Canada) Mobile App

All health care workers should complete the Safe Patient Handling Employee Survey Mobile App on their iPhone, iPad, or Android device prior to Safe Patient Handling Program implementation and even after the program has started. The given statements (I am aware of the policy related to patient handling, We discuss patient handling risks on my unit regularly, etc.) can be answered by ticking any one of these options: Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, and Strongly Disagree.

This app should be used to ensure patient safety and health. You can document the use of hand washing, proper use of manual lifting, and other safe lifting procedures, including the use of lifting equipment when necessary. Use of this tool will help promote patient satisfaction and workplace safety.

This tool can be downloaded to an iPhone, iPad, or Android device. All checklists are stored in the GoCanvas Cloud and can be emailed or printed as a PDF if you need to share it with others.
