The Coronavirus (COVID-19) CDC Guidelines app highlights the guidelines as set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) related to managing health and wellbeing during the pandemic from COVID-19 also known as the novel coronavirus.
How does it work?
Users of this app enter their username, the date and time they are accessing the app (which is automatically populated), and their GPS location. The guidelines established by the CDC include steps meant to limit the spread of COVID-19 for those who are sick such as staying home except to get medical care, avoiding others in their home, calling ahead before visiting doctors, and more. Additionally, all people should wear a facemask, cover coughs and sneezes appropriately, avoid sharing personal items, clean high-touch surfaces regularly, clean and disinfect surfaces, monitor symptoms, and more. The app highlights when medical attention should be sought, and when COVID-19 symptoms present as an emergency.
