HUD Inspection Form - Section 8 - Oregon Mobile App
The HUD Inspection Form - Section 8 - Oregon mobile app provides a simple way to track the results of housing quality standards inspections as required by your local housing authority and HUD.
How does it work?
The physical inspection app was designed for anyone who regularly inspections Section 8 apartment units and other housing types. The inspectors form covers all areas of the home or multifamily housing, including common areas and exterior areas.
In order to rent to a Section 8 tenant in Oregon your house or apartment must be inspected to make sure it meets the housing standards of the Section 8 program for low-income families. During the inspection process, the inspector will examine the exterior of the building, the plumbing and heating systems, the exits and hallways, and each room to make sure the unit is safe, clean and in good condition. The unit must be vacant at the time of the first inspection, and all utilities must be turned on by the owner. The inspector must have access to the unit itself, the basement, and all common areas. Use this HUD inspection report to complete the inspection right on your smartphone or tablet. For each line item in the HUD inspection template, the inspector marks if the unit passes or fails (or not sure). If repairs are needed to your Oregon property, the inspector marks this on the form in the comments section.
