HUD Inspection Form - Section 8 - Oklahoma Mobile App
This HUD Inspection Form - Section 8 - Oklahoma Mobile App is a checklist form provided by HUD, the federal agency in charge of the Section 8 program, to complete the inspection right on your smartphone or tablet.
How does it work?
For each line item the inspector marks if the unit passes or fails (or not sure). If repairs are needed to your Oklahoma property, the inspector marks this on the form in the comments section. Use this app to ensure housing quality and maintain quality standards as part of the housing choice voucher program. Use this housing inspection app to help fulfill housing assistance for tenants on behalf of this public housing initiative with low-income housing designed to promote family self-sufficiency.
In order to rent to a Section 8 tenant in Oklahoma your house or apartment must be inspected to make sure it meets the housing standards of the Section 8 program. The inspector will examine the exterior of the building, the plumbing and heating systems, the exits and hallways, and each room to make sure the unit is safe, clean and in good condition. The unit must be vacant at the time of the first inspection, and all utilities must be turned on. The inspector must have access to the unit itself, the basement, and all common areas.
