Mine excavations (includes access points to, or entrances to, shafts or other vertical openings, stopes, passes, winzes, mine or quarry faces, pit walls faces, trenches, costeans and pits), Shafts, Mine road design and construction, Subsidence & Ground Support, Disused workings, Air blasts/wind, Fall of things such as components, tools, structures, Objects / structures falling on people, Working at heights and Fall of persons from height greater than 2 metres.
Risk assessments help mine operators to categorize high, medium and low risk levels, prioritise the risk and provide information on the need to safely control the risks. Mine owners and operators will be able to put into practice safety improvements.
The app should be used for each of the following work areas Surface Mines, Facilities, Plant Treatment Facilities, Underground Mines and Administration. This is not an inclusive list and there may be other risks at your mine that are not listed. Any additional risks can be added or deleted from this app quickly and with ease.
