The Reactor Operation Procedure app is used in the start-up and operation of a nuclear reactor. The app prompts users to ensure that the start-up of a reactor is performed by a reactor operator or supervisor. A checklist should be posted on the reactor console which is followed during the start-up operation. When a steady power level has been achieved, the user should announce the nominal power level over the reactor's PA system. The fission chamber should then be connected with the reactor flux. This app helps ensure that a reactor vessel is operated properly and safely.
