The app walks the user through certain daily, monthly, bi-annual, and annual inspection items, as well as seasonal inspection items. A centrifugal pump is a mechanical device designed to move fluid by means of the transfer of rotational energy using rotors or impellers. Fluid enters the rotating rotor or impeller along its axis and is pumped out by centrifugal force. The rotational energy typically comes from an engine or electric motor. The daily inspection items in this app include checking the pump for noisy bearings, vibration, or cavitation, checking flow rate, and checking the bearing oil for water and other liquid, and discoloration. The temperature of bearings is also checked on a daily basis, among other items. On a monthly basis, oil should be added to bearing reservoirs, oiler bulbs should be cleaned, guards should be replaced or repaired, and more. Other important inspection items occur semi-annually and annually. It is also a good idea to inspected centrifugal pumps seasonally as a part of preventive maintenance.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
