The meetings should be led by a safety committee member, a safety coordinator, or other worker who is tasked with the safety of employees. The agenda highlighted in this app can include an occupational safety review and training, discussion of roles and responsibilities around health and safety issues, use of personal protective equipment, and compliance assessments. These meetings will ensure that the employer and employees understand the importance of the prevention of hazards and the reporting of unsafe acts which may occur with the work that occurs in confined space, the chemicals, and other hazards associated with the distilling and brewing industry. The meetings will also include updates on any investigation or monitoring of a safety risk. The Brewery & Distillery Monthly Health and Safety Meeting Record - WorkSafe BC app should be used to help document the meeting so that both the employer and employee understand the responsibilities and regulations around health and safety procedures, and value the inspections conducted by safety committee members.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
