Brewery & Distillery New Worker Orientation Checklist - WorkSafe BC (Canada) Mobile App
New workers to a brewery or distillery will need to complete training on their tasks and responsibilities, as well as occupational health and safety practices and policies in the workplace.
How does it work?
The Brewery & Distillery New Worker Orientation Checklist - WorkSafe BC app should be used by both an employee in training and their managers to ensure that proper training is being undertaken by the brewery or distillery and that a worker understands the hazards of the job as well as their rights and responsibilities. The new employee safety program training should include a review of the employee handbook, evacuation procedures, handling of hazardous materials, equipment training (such as using a forklift), documentation of workplace injuries, use of personal protective equipment, and other safe work procedures such as lockout tagout processes and more. New employee orientation training is the single most important way to ensure a safe work environment for every employee of the establishment.
