Part of determining what level of regulations they will need to meet will first require defining what a brewery will offer. The Brewers Association of Canada - Pre-requisite Program - Brewery Background app should be used by a brewmaster to outline the background of the brewery. The app will collect information on the brewery such as location of the brewhouse, history of the business and brewery operations, type of beer production, and how the alcoholic beverages will be distributed- for example... bottles in a store, keg at a beer garden, by the pint with food in a restaurant, on brewery tours, etc.
