New Jersey Request for Microbiological Testing of Food Sample Mobile App
Foodborne disease is most often an infection caused by a bacteria, virus, or parasite.
How does it work?
When an incident of foodborne disease is reported to the health department, the agency will follow procedures to identify the suspect food source and send the sample to a testing lab. This health inspection is critical for supply chain analysis and preserving public health. The New Jersey Request for Microbiological Testing of Food Sample app is used by an agency to request lab testing for a food sample. The agency will use the app to record details of the collected sample, industry details, and the analysis requested including bacteria such as salmonella enterica or E. coli
