In order for this electronic measuring device to display accurate readings, equipment must be calibrated with an annual frequency. The Multimeter Record Form app provides an organized method for data logging while conducting the multimeter calibration procedure. With the form, the app user can record details about the measuring device including the model, manufacturer, and calibration procedure required. The app user will note the location and ambient temperature of the calibration procedure. For each feature selected on the meter selector switch, the app user will record measured values for the listed inputs. This includes documenting measured values for DC voltage, resistance, temperature, DC current, frequency, and AC voltage. After inputting the measured values, the app will graph percent deviation, indicating any adjustments needed. With this app, one can confidently calibrate the multimeter and ensure accurate readings from the device.
