The device is often used for measuring the pulses per second in an electronic signal or the number of cycles of oscillation. A technician should test and calibrate the instrument annually to ensure accurate measuring. The Frequency Counter Calibration Procedure app will guide an app user through the entire calibration process. The app user will begin by recording the ambient temperature. If the ambient temperature is not within the proper range to test the device, the app user should perform verification at another location. Next, the user will connect the calibration instrument to a frequency counter, select the source on the calibrator, and select frequency values for measuring through the receiver of the frequency counter. The output of the signal generator should be standardized and the MHz frequency a known quantity to remove any measurement uncertainty. The user should follow the specifications of the calibration process while making a note of data measured using the record form app.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
