Because it is critical that a measurement is accurate, a micrometer has to be calibrated to maintain a proper scale. The Inside Micrometer Record Form app is used by a technician for calibration instructions and documentation for this measuring device. With the form, the app user can record details about the type of device used, the location and temperature on the calibration date. Before taking a measurement, the app user can review the parts of the device such as the main scale, circular scale, spindle screw, and thimble. The app user will engage in three steps to note a visual inspection and then record standard value and the measured value for the measuring scale, and finally the range of attachment and values for attachment rods. The tool will calculate the standard deviation and graph recorded measurements. This app should be used to help technicians achieve accurate measurement data from the interior of parts.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
