Every six months the Punch shall be inspected for the items listed on the “Biannual Punch Inspection” sheet which follows. Inspect punch and die before installing. Do not use damaged punches and/or dies. When moving material into or out of the Punch, the walkways must be clear and unoccupied. The Structural Steel Fabricators: Punch Safety Orientation Instructions mobile app allows you to replace your paper safety orientation with a tablet or smartphone. The mobile form includes fields to document items such as date, safety officer and ironworker/ steel fabricator, job site, location and records comments and captures signatures. Once the mobile app is filled out a secure PDF is generated. The PDF is easy to share, and a copy is stored in your account for your ironworker records. You can also use the App Builder to personalize and customize this mobile form.
