The app user can begin by explaining the job and offering a description of the work and can record the weight and load. With the app, the user can provide contact info for a lift supervisor, crane operator, and designated rigger. Next, the app user will move through a safety review of the different components and tasks of the work. For example, the operator will ensure proper inspection of the crane and confirm that safety devices have been installed and tested. In addition, the user can take precautions to keep personnel out of the area and can commit to protecting the swing area as well as the lifting and landing zones. For the rigging, the user will ensure that the equipment has passed inspection and is of the proper capacity. Next, the user can conduct a critical lift assessment confirming critical hazard controls such as the power lines are not within the boom swing radius. Using the app, the rigging operator can document lift details such as the crane’s lift capacity and the estimated weight of required rigging. Finally, the user can conclude with a checklist of critical safety measures, space for authorizing signatures, and the option to include a rigging diagram and crane path of travel diagram.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
