A rigging supervisor can customize the checklist according to specific work procedures and workplace. Using the app, a rigging equipment operator can walk through a series of questions to ensure that the lift team and machine are suitable to engage in the work. The operator will check the weight of the load including rigging and all components and ensure that the crane is suitable for the identified lift in terms of correct rated capacity and safe working load. As to the rigging gear, the operator will check that spreader type is suitable for the lift and a sketch of the rigging method is provided. Finally, the operator will assess the safety of the lifting and rigging operation. For example, the rigging supervisor should verify ground conditions, check for visibility, consider the effect of wind on the load, and check for the proximity of overhead structures and power lines.

Don't take our word for it...
“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
