Without proper safety measures, operators are prone to injury and individuals in the work area are exposed to falling materials. The Ladder Safety Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) app helps users conduct risk analysis and create an accident prevention plan for work that involves ladders. Before recording risks for each work activity and recommended control measures, users can use the app to find worker information and requirements for safely completing the work per regulations. Requirements state that for general industry project activities, ladders must be used, inspected and maintained in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. As such, workers are required to inspect ladder for defects before use and become familiar with all instructions and warning labels of the equipment. While ascending the ladder, a worker should use three points of control and should not carry tools or materials on one’s hand. The app can prompt those using ladders to utilize personal protective equipment and complete safety training. This tool is essential for site safety in any operation that involves elevated work.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
