The reactions can pose a health and safety threat by means of an explosion or fire or by the formation of toxic materials. Using the Incompatible Materials Activity Hazard Analysis (AHA) app, a user can conduct a risk assessment prior to beginning work that may include incompatible chemicals or materials and create a safety plan for all relevant personnel. App users can access guidelines for procedure and safety requirements including that workers be trained to work with specific hazardous chemicals and should understand the hazards associated with reactivity, compatibility, and storage of such chemicals. Workers should also prepare personal protection equipment for each chemical before use. In the event of an accident or emergency, the incident should be reported and documented. The user can use the app to recommend activity-specific hazard controls for review and approval by a healthy and safety officer. This app is an essential tool for any laboratory setting where the health and safety of technicians are at risk due to the potential mixture of incompatible materials.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
