When a complaint is made about a smell that may cause problems, a sample may be sent to a laboratory for odor testing. Assessors, or odor panelists, with an acute sense of smell, will need to smell three odors from an olfactometer. One sample will include a dilute odor, and the other two samples will be odor free. The assessor will need to determine if the selection is a guess, a detection, or a recognition. This app for Odor Testing Data Sheet from Odor Evaluation Laboratory should be used by laboratory technicians conducting odor testing to help find solutions to the odor and offer treatment options.

Use this app to promote both community and occupational health through quality odor testing. With this app, assessors can document results of odor emissions sample tests as well as notes and observations. This data is then stored in the GoCanvas’ cloud, making it easily accessible to reference and quickly aggregate data amongst all assessors to find a solution as well as trends to reduce the likelihood of odor hazards, promote occupational health and safety, as well as for the community.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
