For example, modern phone systems may not function without a power supply, internet connectivity is subject to disruption during as loss of power, and conferencing as well as A/V equipment is likely not to function without electrical power. This app walks users through evaluating critical systems and to develop a response plan to ensure that during a loss of power, a business can save and even power critical equipment, while safely shutting down other equipment, ensuring that a business can maintain product delivery systems, building support systems, security systems, and other essential business systems. In a power failure, phones may be down, transport vehicles may be unable to charge, HVAC/air conditioning systems may not work, elevators may not function, badge and access systems may be rendered inoperational, and financial and production systems may be down. Using the Business Power Outage Systems Checklist app, users can take steps such as ensuring every employee has access to a cell phone, that a generator or backup power supply be in place for critical equipment, that transportation systems are always charged, and that refrigeration systems are hooked up to an uninterruptible power supply so that refrigerator stored inventory is not lost.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
