When conducting a fixed cell - moving ground survey, the reference electrode must be placed in the soil at a remote location and left undisturbed. Conduct a point-to-point test between any two structures for which the fixed cell - moving ground survey is inconclusive or indicates possible isolation. For impressed current systems, the protected structure must be continuous with all other protected structures in order to pass the continuity survey. The Impressed Current Cathodic Protection System Evaluation mobile app allows you to replace your paper evaluation with an iPhone, Android, tablet or Windows desktop computer. The mobile form includes fields to document items such as reason survey was conducted, cathodic protection tester’s evaluation, criteria applicable to evaluation, action required as a result of this evaluation and description of the UST system. Once the mobile app is filled out a secure PDF is generated. The PDF is easy to share, and a copy is stored in your account for your corrosion control records. You can also use the App Builder to personalize and customize this mobile form.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
