While it is not exhaustive of management responsibilities, it is helpful to human resources personnel, health, safety, and environment officers (HSE), and senior management when checking to make sure their business is complying with workplace health and safety standards and requirements.

Every company is concerned with the well-being of their employees and have control measures in place to ensure their staff is working at a healthy workplace and that occupational health is a core component of the safety policy in place in a workplace. The Work Place Health and Safety Management Review Checklist covers various occupational safety topics like incident reporting, hazard reporting, first aid, personal protective equipment for hazardous chemicals, and more. Perhaps not every category is relevant for your business, but the app covers important topics and hazards such as: driving safety (i.e., are managers and supervisors checking that drivers are appropriately licensed for the vehicles they drive?); electrical safety (i.e., do workplace inspections check that portable bar radiators are not used?); and even hearing conservation (i.e., are there any work areas where it appears that noise exposure thresholds may be exceeded?). Although it is not an exhaustive list of OHS management roles and responsibilities, the app is customizable to allow users to tailor the app to address appropriate safety risks and internal practices and safety training needs of specific companies or industries.
