These regulations will prohibit young workers from working in hazardous occupations, ensure they are making minimum wage, the hours they are scheduled to work do not conflict with school hours, and are limited to a maximum number of hours per week. This app will allow young workers under 18 years old to apply for a special exemption to the law so they can work to earn an income or achieve work experience. The app will need to be completed by the student, a parent or guardian, as well the employer and in some circumstances, a school official.
