The child will need to find an employer willing to hire them and who will adhere to the hour restrictions (not conflicting with school hours) and will need to have a parent or legal guardian agree to let them work. The child should also be prepared to provide a copy of their birth certificate or age certificate as proof of age. The employer will need to complete a section of the app outlining the hours per week the child will be working, the job they will be working (ensuring no hazardous occupations are included in the work).
