Some disabled people require signs to help them navigate. The Signage Checklist Accessibility (UK) app features a helpful checklist to ensure that signs are used effectively. The app features a simple yes/no checklist format, which lists items such as: locate signs where they are clearly visible, signs should be placed at eye level. The optimum height for viewing at eye level is 1400 - 1700mm above floor level, position signs where the reader will not obstruct circulation paths, signs that are projecting or being suspended from the ceiling must be positioned above head height at 2200mm from floor level, etc. Through the app, users can identify if any correction action is necessary to provide enough accommodations for people with disabilities.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
