The Accessibility Audit Checklist (India) app has been written to be used by access auditors undertaking access audit of public buildings as a part of the Accessible India Campaign.

The checklist may be used as a basic tool and may be further developed and innovated by the user depending on the type of building or service been audited. The checklist goes beyond the physical accessibility and address issues of making the service provided in the building accessible. The checklist is divided in 4 sections: Accessibility of Information and Communication, Evaluation of Services, Audit of the Physical Aspects of the Building, and an addendum. By answering the questions in the checklist, auditors can report any problem areas that makes services inaccessible to people with disabilities. Within the app, auditors can note these findings and make recommendations for corrective action. This app helps an audit team teach facilities follow compliance standards.
