Shallow excavations do not require shoring to prevent collapse and should not exceed 0.5 meter in depth. Typically, shallow excavations are completed with the use of hand held tools although in some circumstances excavators may be used. As with any excavation area or project, caution should be taken with buried cables, phone or ground water, gas pipes, and rock or stone. For more information about the excavations please refer to The Shallow Excavation Toolbox Talk (UK) app.

Don't take our word for it...

“I’m not a tech guy and I was able to pick this thing up in probably an hour, and actually start to build apps. I’ve done them over lunch when I’ve gotten frustrated with a process that didn’t exist in our company. So for non tech people who’ve got a problem, the support here is awesome and I’d recommend it to anybody, not just in our industry.”
