How does it work?
As part of the professional development process, applicant for lecturing posts must fill out the Professional Development Review (PDR) Questionnaire (UK) app. It is used as part of the selection process and, if successful, in the lecturer's personal development to meet the full requirements of the post. The staff lays out objectives in a development plan. Through the PDR process, staff members are able to see if applicants are successful. The questionnaire asks about teaching experience, assessment practices, formal courses, preparation for further training to develop teaching skills, research experience, and administration experience.
