This app is able to help users to identify, evaluate, control, and communicate potential hazards associated with performing job activities including but not limited to: facility maintenance, building maintenance, construction activities, facility operations, environmental remediation, subcontractor activities, and service organization support. This particular app was originally designed for the Hanford site where radioactive and chemical waste is stored. The app notes a range of corrective actions or hazard controls that be used on each specific hazard. Successful use of this app helps improve occupational safety by way of focusing on the health and safety of workers. The app notes the use of personal protective equipment, and a bevy of other risk mitigation strategies that can be used to improve work safety issues in a wide range of industrial operations.
