Liaison with other Organisations Food Law Enforcement Protocols (Scotland) Mobile App
The Liaison with other Organisations Food Law Enforcement Protocols (Scotland) is an audit protocol that evaluates the ability of a local authority to work with outside organisations in promoting food safety, food hygiene, and the safety of food businesses.
How does it work?
Working with other departments and organisations can be beneficial in ensuring operations of a local authority being handled smoothly and effectively. This audit app allows those activities and responsibilities to be evaluated.
These protocols should be used for full audits of local authority's food law enforcement and guidance services. Additional protocols have been developed specifically for authorities with imported food control responsibilities (products not of animal origin) at points of entry into Scotland's sea and air ports. These Protocols will contain a responsibility to protect the public health by food, health and food safety, and preventive control standards.
